Our Ministries
Perfecting Church Toledo (PCT) was established on August 6th, 2017, when a devoted group of believers in Toledo, Ohio—aligned with Perfecting Fellowship International—joined under the leadership of Bishop-Elect Marvin L. Winans. Guided by a keen sensitivity to the voice of God, Bishop Winans accepted the call to shepherd this new and faithful congregation.
Through faith, perseverance, and divine grace, the members of PCT are dedicated to advancing the Kingdom of God in Toledo. Anchored in the purpose of the Church “And he gave some prophets, and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ.” – Ephesians 4:11-12, PCT strives to develop and equip believers for the work of ministry and the building up of the body of Christ.

Our History
Bishop-Elect Marvin Winans is the founder and pastor of Perfecting Church in Detroit, Michigan. He also serves as the overseer of Perfecting Fellowship International, a global network of churches spanning the United States—including New York, Texas, Florida, Ohio, and Alabama—as well as international congregations in London and South Africa.
Perfecting Church Toledo (PCT) was established on August 6th, 2017, when a devoted group of believers in Toledo, Ohio—aligned with Perfecting Fellowship International—joined under the leadership of Bishop-Elect Marvin L. Winans. Guided by a keen sensitivity to the voice of God, Bishop Winans accepted the call to shepherd this new and faithful congregation.
In just two years, the PCT family was blessed to purchase its first worship facility: a beautiful, expansive campus located at 4609 Glendale Avenue, in Toledo, Ohio. This remarkable milestone reflects both God’s faithfulness and the congregation’s dedication.
Upholding Perfecting Fellowship International’s foundational principle of “Ministry Means People,” Perfecting Church Toledo has launched a variety of ministries to meet the spiritual and practical needs of both its members and the greater Toledo community. Under Bishop Winans’ leadership, PCT remains committed to fostering spiritual growth through sound biblical teaching and compassionate service.
